Local Planning
One of the roles of the RMA is to act as a representative body for the people of Radyr & Morganstown with regard to planning matters.
This includes both responding to individual planning applications brought to our attention by our membership and as a consultee to the process of creating, refining and updating the Local Development Plan – the strategic document used by Cardiff Council when considering planning matters across the City.
The RMA are currently actively working on:
- Review of the Cardiff Local Development Plan
- Full Planning application for works over the railway line at Gelynis Farm
We have submitted the following objection to a development at De Braose Close in Danescourt. Whilst not being directly in our our area of influence, this development potentially impacts on the river Taff corridor.
We are also keeping a watching brief on:
- Transport Interchange at Waungron Park – Feb 2021 in pre-planning consultation phase
- Programme of works to upgrade the railway lines north of Radyr station for the South Wales Metro
