    Cardiff Corinthians Juniors FC was formed for the season 2009/10 by a group of like minded parents with a history of playing with the senior club. Starting with a single team in the U8 age group.     • Then, comes news announcements to keep members up-to-date.
    • Next, there’s usually an interesting speaker giving an illustrated talk (the subjects can vary widely).
    • Afterwards, a Q&A session – with usually the speaker answering, and often the audience answering too.
    • At around midday, next comes another leisurely get together and chat session.

    The public footpaths have been given their registered numbers where possible. The development of the estates, the M4 and the building of the Comprehensive School have meant that several footpaths have been diverted or taken into highways. The short paths connecting estate roads are approximate routes of the original footpaths, which directly connected Radyr, Morganstown, Pentyrch, St. Fagans, Whitchurch and Llandaff across open fields.

    Radyr Cricket Club was founded as long ago as 1890.   • Radyr Rangers Football Club

    Radyr Rangers Football Club was formed in 2000 by a group of enthusiastic Dads to encourage the children of Radyr and Morganstown, Cardiff to play football.

    The club has since merged with the former AFC Radyr to have both Adult and Youth Sections who practice at the Mound Field in Morganstown and play throughout the week and weekend in a range of South Wales Football Association Leages and Cup groups.

    Radyr Woods, Nature Reserve and Amenity Area, Prince of Wales Award, Winner of the Jubilee Award 1985. Recognised by The Shell Better Britain Campaign

    Covers 14 acres and includes a wide variety of wildlife habitats and features including ponds, springs, grassy glades and heathland with over 75 species of wildflowers. Visitors are welcome at any time and pedestrian access is unrestricted – from within Radyr the Nature Reserve can be reached via Woodfield Avenue or Taff Terrace. Volunteering is a great way of trying something new and bringing your skills and experience to an organisation in need. We don’t just offer opportunities for members of the public to undertake first aid training and assist at events, we have a variety of roles, from a HR officer to a youth leader. Whether you are retired, on sabbatical, or can only spare a few hours between work, any support is appreciated.

  • Taff Trail

    The Taff Trail is a multi-purpose route between the Market Town of Brecon in the North and the Cardiff waterfront at Cardiff Bay in the South. 55 miles (88km) in length, it passes close to Pontypridd and Merthyr Tydfil and through a wide variety of urban and suburban landscapes of those towns and the open moorland of the Brecon Beacons. There are also many “green fingers” where the Taff Trail itself appears to bring the countryside into the town. The area is also rich in industrial archaeology.

    From Morganstown you can join the Taff Trail via the access at Gelynis Farm. In Radyr a trip under the railway line beside the station and then over the river bridge will get you onto the traffic free trail all the way into the centre of Cardiff.
