About the Association
In November 2014, a group of people living on the Sidings development decided to get together and set up a Residents’ Association to provide a stronger and more unified voice for residents with regard to the various issues that may affect our community now or in the future.
The Association aims to help safeguard and promote the interests of residents living on the Sidings development on matters such as housing and the environment, and to help improve community facilities and services for residents by engaging constructively with the various organisations involved.
The Association is committed to representing the majority views of residents of the Sidings development. In particular, the Association aims to become involved with the completion and ongoing maintenance of construction works on the development and the adoption of the public areas (roads, open spaces, landscaped areas, play park, etc) by Cardiff Council.
Anyone who lives on the Sidings development who’s aged 16 or over, is entitled — and encouraged! — to get involved in the Association.
The Association’s committee is made up of ordinary individuals who live on the development, and we carry out our activities in our spare time. So we’re always on the look-out for people who are keen to get involved and support the community.
If you have any comments or queries, or if you would like to help the Association, please contact us.
