September – 7 cars were tampered with during the month. 3 of these cars were not locked.
November – A white van has been travelling around the village selling bedding and furniture. It is reported that these items are below the level required by trading standards. The company are listed as a scam operation on the website.
November – PC Huw Thomas has been replaced by PC Sam Willis.
PCSO Laura Smith is in Radyr Library registering valuable items – iphones, ipads, TVs, jewellery etc on the police register in case of loss or theft.
December – Police are reminding communities to keep doors and cars locked during the Christmas period to avoid burglaries.
January 2016
PC Julie Jones takes over as Beat Officer for the area and reports –
2 burglaries – Radyr Comprehensive School and the Rectory
2 Vehicle thefts and 2 domestic assaults Youth arrested with a knife.
Please keep cars locked and do not leave valuables in the car.

3 cars broken into around the village. 7 Burglaries at Pugh’s Garden Centre with a significant loss of stock at Brantono. A house burglary off Dan y Bryn Avenue with loss of valuables and a car, later recovered.
