Burglary at Radyr Golf Club

In the early hours of Sunday morning, 10/11/13, two burglars climbed on to the porch roof, jemmied a window and broke into the bar area of the club. As they clambered into the room they set off all the alarms. In time they had they smashed a trophy cupboard and took a number of trophies. They made their escape through another window, leaving broken glass and discarded trophies all over the floor. This was obviously a predetermined effort to rob the Club. Fortunately they were caught out by the alarm system and caught on CCTV. Let’s hope the perpetrators are caught! The police arrived within minutes. Accompanied by their dogs, they entered the premises to discover the attempted robbery.
