Neighbourhood Watch
“Be safe be secure.”
Neighbourhood Watch is one of the most successful crime prevention initiatives and depends on residents being aware and able to communicate information to the police authorities.
There are over a 100 members of Radyr & Morganstown Neighbourhood Watch who are linked by email address. From time to time police alerts are sent to members in order to make their neighbours aware of risks, security advice and information regarding criminal activity in the area. Each member is encouraged to keep their immediate neighbours informed of alerts and advice.
Meetings are held with the Police and County Councillors at regular intervals. Neighbourhood Watch is included in the PACT meeting held at the Old Church Rooms, Radyr on a bi-monthly basis. All members of the community are welcome to become members of the Neighbourhood Watch and attend PACT meetings. See the R&M diary for the next meeting. If you would like to be linked through email for police alerts then contact: d.cargill@ntlworld.com
