£7,500 cheque for BHF Wales

On Friday evening (7 July 2023) the Festival Committee presented a cheque for £7,500 to the British Heart Foundation for monies raised during the May Festival. More money has already been raised by the RMA and other groups across the community and BHF will remain the RMA’s charity for the rest of 2023 which will cover all of the community Christmas events.

The cheque was presented to Carys from BHF Wales during a “thank you” evening and BBQ at the Old Church Rooms where the volunteers who make the events across the Festival Fortnight happen.
