40 years of fundraising in the community

Radyr and Morganstown Friends of Tenovus have been recognized for their 40 years of fundraising in the community.

This came about at a Tenovus Cancer Care volunteer award ceremony at The Parkgate Hotel on 15 July. The group was up against 4 other candidates for the group award and were delighted if slightly surprised to come out winners. Then being handed a beautiful inscribed glass plaque. We have now been put forward for a Cardiff volunteer award.

We have managed to raise an outstanding amount of nearly £400,000 in our 40 years with the help and support of the community of Radyr and Morganstown, which we are very grateful for and highly appreciate.

To celebrate 40 years of fundraising the Radyr and Morganstown Friends of Tenovus are holding an Anniversary Dinner at Radyr Golf Club featuring Rupert Moon and Jamie Pugh on Friday 17 October from 1900.

Then there is their regular coffee morning in aid of Tenovus Cancer Care at Radyr Golf Club on Friday 24 October from 10:30
