Message from City Services:
Following yesterday’s disruption to the waste and recycling collections due to snow and ice in your ward, the teams have been working hard to ensure the waste and recycling collections are completed as quickly as possible.
All waste and recycling collections in Radyr and Morganstown went ahead yesterday, the majority of properties had a collection as scheduled, however there are some small pockets where we were unable to access. These areas will be collected as soon as possible. The affected streets are as follows:

Pilgrim Close
Green Place
Drovers Way
Plas Y Mynach
Main Road
Recycling
Windsor Crescent
Station Road
Woodfield Avenue
Lime Close
Pant Tawel Lane
Ffordd Y Berllan
Ael Y Bryn
All garden waste collections are suspended for this week and we will be advising residents to present this on their waste on their next scheduled collection in 2 weeks on 4th February 2013.
Residents are advised to taken back in their garden waste, but leave out all other uncollected items as we aim to clear all remaining waste from these areas as soon as possible, but this will very much dependant on the changing weather conditions.
Unfortunately, all farm runs (lanes), in all wards have been suspend due to serious problems with refuse vehicles becoming stuck early yesterday morning.
