New Greengrocer

You may not have heard that Alun Pullen decided a little while ago to hand over his greengrocer’s shop ‘Veg Vendor’ in Station Road to someone else and concentrate on running his Seasons restaurant.

So we are delighted to report that ‘Veg Vendor’ has been just been taken over by David and Wendy Welsh – and you will shortly find ‘Veg Vendor’ has become ‘Welsh’s’.

David says that he will be continuing with the successful fresh vegetable, salad and delicatessen counters, with the emphasis on ‘fresh’, as well as a range of interesting breads. He and Wendy are avid bakers so watch out for their range of home-made cakes – already being snapped up by keen-eyed shoppers.

And, to make it as easy as possible to purchase his products, the shop will now be open from 9am to 1pm on Sundays.

So do come along and support David and Wendy in their new venture. And David says that, if he hasn’t got it in stock, he will get it for you. There’s a challenge!
