{"id":958,"date":"2021-02-11T15:48:00","date_gmt":"2021-02-11T15:48:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/radyr.org.uk\/rmassociation\/?page_id=958"},"modified":"2021-03-08T11:18:53","modified_gmt":"2021-03-08T11:18:53","slug":"local-planning","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/radyr.org.uk\/rmassociation\/local-planning\/","title":{"rendered":"Local Planning"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>One of the roles of the RMA is to act as a representative body for the people of Radyr &amp; Morganstown with regard to planning matters.<\/p>\n<p>This includes both responding to individual planning applications brought to our attention by our membership and as a consultee to the process of creating, refining and updating the Local Development Plan &#8211; the strategic document used by Cardiff Council when considering planning matters across the City.<\/p>\n<p>The RMA are currently actively working on:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/radyr.org.uk\/rmassociation\/local-planning\/ldp\/\">Review of the Cardiff Local Development Plan<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/radyr.org.uk\/rmassociation\/planning-applications-works-over-the-railway-at-glynis-farm\/\">Full Planning application for works over the railway line at Gelynis Farm<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We have submitted the following objection to a development at De Braose Close in Danescourt.\u00a0 Whilst not being directly in our our area of influence, this development potentially impacts on the river Taff corridor.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/radyr.org.uk\/rmassociation\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2021\/03\/210308-De-Braose-Close-Planning.pdf\">210308 De Braose Close Planning<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We are also keeping a watching brief on:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Transport Interchange at Waungron Park &#8211; Feb 2021 in pre-planning consultation phase<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/radyr.org.uk\/rmassociation\/local-planning\/upgrade-works-to-the-railway-line-north-of-radyr-station-for-the-south-wales-metro\/\">Programme of works to upgrade the railway lines north of Radyr station for the South Wales Metro<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Whilst not strictly a planning matter we are also interested in the progress of:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/radyr.org.uk\/rmassociation\/local-planning\/play-area-at-parc-radur\/\">project to replace and improve play equipment in the children&#8217;s area in Clos Parc Radur (Drovers Way)<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>One of the roles of the RMA is to act as a representative body for the people of Radyr &amp; Morganstown with regard to planning matters.
